WHAT IS CROSSFIT ENDURANCE?

CrossFit Endurance is an endurance sports training program dedicated to improving performance, fitness and endurance sports potential.

Power and speed are critical components to success in the endurance world. With careful planning, the CFCM strength and conditioning plan increases these two mainstays of performance while decreasing recovery time, reducing injury, promoting preservation of lean tissue and creating a more sustainable performance curve.   We focus on eliminating the unnecessary volume of training while increasing intensity. The long slow training program results in athletes being less powerful, less lean and more prone to injury, low energy and abbreviated sport longevity.  We follow the CFCM programming while adding precise training for endurance. We will make you lift heavy. We will make your lungs burn.

Endurance WODS are held TUESDAY and THURSDAY mornings at 5:15.  Please make sure you are ready to leave the gym/workout at 5:15.  Workouts range from timed runs, distance runs, sprints, interval training and rower workouts.

Group runs are held on Sundays.  Distance varies.

Always check the website for any potential cancellations/changes.

Please make sure you are prepared for the weather!  We do run outside and we want everyone to be dressed appropriately!

We want everyone to be SAFE!  Please have some type of reflective clothing, vest, head lamp, blinky light, glo sticks, light sabers or anything else to keep you visible to cars, bikers, etc.  Once the snow falls, the sidewalks tend to become hazardous, so we often find ourselves running in the street.

Please understand,  that this endurance training is offered and conducted by CFCM trainers on their own time.  It is run in conjunction with the CFCM programming and training we do on a daily basis.  The goal with this training, as is with CrossFit, is to take people out of their comfort zone.
